Office of the Cantonment Board invites applications on the prescribed format from the citizens of india for recruitment of following group “C” posts.

1. Asst. Teacher in Lower Primary School

• Number of post : 01 Post
• Pay Scale : Rs. 3450-80-3930-EB-90-4650-100-5650 + Allowances (Pre-Revised)
• Age : 18 to 25 years as on 01.04.2010 (relaxable to the SC/ST/OBS as per rules)
• Qualification : PUC / HSSLC / Class XII pass JTT / DEET training or equivalent. Desirable : Knowledge of computer , music, and other extra activities.

2. LDA

• Number of post : 02 Posts
• Pay Scale : Rs. 3100-70-3520-EB-80-4160-90-5060 + Allowances (Pre-Revised)
• Age : 18 to 25 years as on 01.04.2010 (relaxable to the SC/ST/OBS as per rules)
• Qualification : HSLC / SSLC or its equivalent . Typing in English & Hindi . Desirable : Knowledge of computer with 1 year diploma.

• Last Date for receipt of application : 14.01.2010
• Last Date for purchase of application form : 31.12.2009

Other Conditions :i) Written test shall be conducted for both the posts . Interview shall be called on the basis of written test only. ii) Application form can be purchased on payment of Rs. 100.00 and Rs. 75.00 for Sl. No. 1 & 2 respectively in the form of Demand Draft / Postal Order / Cash receipt from the Office of the Cantonment Board on any working day or same can be downloaded from the website . Application from downloaded from the website shall be submitted along with the cost of application form. iii) Applicants with the claim of reservation should submit the certificate of competent authority. The application forms duly completed alongwith necessary enclosures should reach to the office of Cantonment Board Shillong , Post Box No. 83, Shillong Cantt. on or before 14.01.2010 through registered post only.
