The Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology is one of the National Institute under the council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) which is a autonomous body. Application are invited from eligible candidates for the following postitions.

1. Scientist Group IV (2) – Veterinarian

• Number of posts : 01 Post (SC-PH ortho)
• Pay Scale : PB-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600
• Age : 35 years
• Qualification & Experience : Ist Class M.Vsc with specialization in rearing and breeding of smail animals with 2 years experience in related field as evident from publications in refereed journals. Desirable : Experience in maintaining small animals in animal house will be preferred.

2. Scientist Group IV (2) – Nanobiologist

• Number of posts : 01 Post (OBC)
• Pay Scale : PB-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600
• Age : 35 years
• Qualification & Experience : Ist Class M.Sc / B.Tech in Biological Sciences with 3 years research experience as evident from publications OR Ist Class M.Tech in Biological Sciences with 2 years research experience OR Ph.D in Biological Sciences with 1 years research experience as evident from publications . Desirable : Research experience in nanobiology

3. Technical Group III (4) – Nanotechnology

• Number of posts : 01 Post (UR)
• Pay Scale : PB-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400
• Age : 35 years
• Qualification & Experience : Ist class B.Sc in chemical sciences with 8 years experience in handling instruments related to nanotechnology OR M.Sc. in chemical sciences with minimum of 55% marks with 6 years experience in handling of instruments related to nanotechnology.

4. Technical Group III (4)

• Number of posts : 01 Post (OBC)
• Pay Scale : PB-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400
• Age : 35 years
• Qualification & Experience : Ist class B.Sc with Chemistry as on of the subjects with 8 years experience OR M.Sc. with minimum of 55% marks in Organic / Analytical Pharmaceutical Chemistry OR equivalent recognized qualifications with 6 years experience

5. Technical Group III (1) – Field and Extension Services

• Number of posts : 01 Post (OBC)
• Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200
• Age : 28 years
• Qualification & Experience : Ist Class B.Sc (Agri.) / B.Sc (Horticulture)

6. Technical Group II(1) – Knowledge Management

• Number of posts : 01 Post (UR-PH (HI))
• Pay Scale : PB-1 (Rs. 5200-20200) with Grade Pay of Rs.1900
• Age : 28 years
• Qualification & Experience : SSC / 10 standard with 50% marks in the aggregate and ITI certificate in data entry and computer applications OR SSSC / HSC / 12th in science with Computer / IT as one of the subjects and minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. Desirable : Sound Knowledge in Computer Applications.
